And the next step is going to be….

Q Squad at final debrief in Vietnam

I have been back in the United States and apart from these crazy people that became family for 100 days. I got to travel a lot, see many awesome people, even go to a World Race reunion of sorts. But all of the fun and excitement ended January 17th and when I suddenly found myself back in Kalamazoo with nothing else on my calendar.  But I kept hearing the Lord say, “Be faithful, trust me and wait.”

So I did.

And then things started happening. Ten days later I got invited to start my application process, two weeks after that I had a job, and week after that I found housing in Gainesville!

So here at this 100 day mark I am excited to announce that I HAVE A JOB and I’m moving down to Gainesville, Georgia tomorrow! I will be joining the team as a Regional Logistics Representative for North America and the Caribbean. My job will be to handle all the logistics for trips in my region, establish long term relationships with the local hosts, and work together with a team of people to create experiences that are not only transformational for the participants, but also beneficial for the hosts.

This has been something that has been a process for 8 months, so needless to say, I’m ecstatic to get to start!

For this next transition I have two big prayer requests that I want to share with you!

  1. I had hip surgery February 16th.With that, travelling and moving across the United States is going to be big process. I have two friends Codie, and Dani, that are graciously helping me make the drive and move; but I would love if you could pray for protection, ease, and safe travels!

  2. Part of this new job includes a support raising component. Pray for my heart and that I would be able to share my story and cast vision for what this job is going to allow me to do. Pray for receptive hearts and people willing and excited to join with me!

I’m looking for people that are interested in joining me and becoming a partner in this work that I get to do through Adventures in Missions. If you’re interested, please email me at [email protected] and I’d love to set up a time to connect with you!
